# Introduction

AI Event Manager is an edge-based operational tool that detects AI events based on on-site camera footage and helps operators check real-time status and stored records. You can perform all tasks—from camera registration, VLM token integration, and event type configuration to real-time monitoring and reviewing event logs—within a single workflow.

If you are a first-time user, we recommend starting with `the` `AI Event Manager` `introduction` `and` `glossary`. If you’re curious about changes to features or workflows following a product update, please also refer `to the release notes`.
